If you’re a fan of the Golden Nectar and are visiting Rome during November, 2016, then a visit to Riva Ostiense for Rome’s Beer Festival is a must!
This year, over two weekends hundreds of beers from local breweries will accompany live performances, sporting events, music, film screenings and tasty street food at the Birrodotto Festival at the Gasometro, which is a cultural archaeological site in Rome.
On the second weekend of the festival, there will be a special treat for any rugby fan, with a fun match in Rome between the Italian team and the All Blacks arranged by the Italian Rugby Federation. There will also be live music, with several famous DJs, and a number of films will be on show dedicated to the history of rock.
No beer festival would be complete without tasty food and Birrolotto is sure not to disappoint with its selection of local street food that has been specially selected to complement the 150 beers that will be available during the festival.
