Day 1-2: Benvenuti a Positano
Begin your multi-city vacation in style with a private transfer from Naples airport to your hotel on a coastal drive that features exquisite seaside towns and pastel-coloured landscapes etched into the mountains. On arrival at your hotel in Positano you will have time to rejuvenate after your flight from Australia while taking in spectacular sea views.

Day 3: Full day boat excursion of the famous Amalfi Coast
Today we treat you to a magical boat tour of the stunning Amalfi coastline and visit an array of ancient Utopian dreamlands that are only accessible from the sea. On this cruise, you will pass the delightful shoreline of Praiano, where you’ll stop to absorb the relaxing culture before setting sail in the sunshine to the Emerald Grotto in Conca dei Marini, which is a natural cave that glows and sparkles with rich blue and green colours. There will be free time for lunch in one of the Amalfi Coast villages and, once you’re completely relaxed and feeling rejuvenated, you will cruise back to Positano, where you can unwind at your sea-view hotel.

Day 4: Leisure day
Day 5: The archaeological treasures of Pompeii
Today, you will travel thousands of years back in time to discover a distant period of human culture with a unique day trip to Pompeii – the ancient city that was lost for nearly 2000 years beneath a blanket of ash following an ancient volcanic eruption and the subject of the 2014 blockbuster movie, Pompeii. This ancient city is one of the world’s most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and here you can explore the city’s treasures with a knowledgeable guide on a two-hour guided tour.

Day 6: Travel to Capri, the Pearl of the Mediterranean
On day 6 of your multi-centre holiday in Italy we take you on the hydrofoil to the island of Capri, which is famous for its illuminated grottoes and secret caves, as well as its pretty coastal cliffs decorated with colourful villas. Here you can relish the aesthetic beauty that circulates the island for two blissful nights, giving you time to explore the lively squares and natural rock sculptures, or perhaps simply relax in the sunshine with an ice-cold glass of local limoncello – a liqueur made with lemons from Sorrento.
