“Reading” is the new themed Italy art collection from one of the greatest photographers of our time, the American artist Steve McCurry. Initially planned to conclude at Palazzo di Trastevere in Rome on January 7th, this new Italian art exhibit has been extended until January 28th due to its incredible success.
Beloved throughout Italy, McCurry’s exhibitions have attracted thousands of visitors each year over a 40 year period of activity, during which he has taken some of the most iconic photos of our time.
The images in McCurry’s latest collection portray an engaging human element along with a tribute to the written word. The relatable experience of immersing yourself in a book is something McCurry focuses on in this new exhibit.
Whether alone or in the company of others, McCurry pays tribute to the act of reading, gathering for the first time a selection of 40 shots that features that readers as protagonists. The Italian art collection showcases readers from every corner of the planet: war zones, isolated streets, corners of the city or at home.

A journey without limits of age, citizenship and gender, the passion for reading brings people together. From the east to west, north to south, rediscover your passion for reading at this new collection from Steven McCurry.
You can experience this one-of-a-kind Italy art collection at the historic Palazzo di Trastevere in Rome. Originally designed by architect Luigi Moretti, this historic Palazzo has been redesigned with modern influences.
