Rome Jazz Festival

Rome Jazz Festival is returning to Italy’s capital for the 40th times and promises 16 concerts at various locations, including the Auditorium Parco della Musica and the House of Jazz, from 6th to 23rd November.

As with previous editions of the festival, this event is attracting some of the most important artists of the genre, both in the national and the international scene. The artists who will perform at the Auditorium Rome for Jazz Festival 2016 are: Joshua Redman and Brad Mehldau; Jacob Collier; Richard Galliano; John Scofield; Erri De Luca and Stefano Di Battista Quartet; Enrico Rava, Giovanni Guidi, Matthew Herbert; Stanley Jordan and Billy Cobham; Mario Corvini New Talents Jazz Orchestra with Daniel Tittarelli; Jacky Terrasson, with Cécile McLorin Salvant as a special guest; Omar Sosa and Yilian Canizares; and a special concert featuring Shye Ben Tzur and Jonny Greenwood & The Rajasthan Express.

The event is being produced by IMF Foundation and Fondazione Musica per Roma, in cooperation with the Special Agency Palaexpo – House of Jazz and Jando Music. As well as the Auditorium, jazz events are taking place at the House of Jazz, with concerts from Fabrizio Consoli; Alain Bédard Auguste Quartet; Swing & New Deal; Crazy Stompin Club Swing & New Deal; and Radical Gipsy.
